‘Woman at the Window’

Standing and sitting at a window, this mother-to-be quietly watches the world.

The original was collected by Ivan Massow in 2001, the then curator of the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA). Unfortunately It was lost in a house fire making these prints vary special.

This piece was created from direct observations with a pregnant life model posing for a total of 3 hours. She switched at 5 minute intervals from sitting to standing at the studio window.

Soft pastels and charcoal on paper.

Limited edition giclee print.
