‘Great Mother’

A person in life who gives unconditionally.

This piece was a study drawn from found photographs of indigenous people. I saw wisdom and a quiet knowing in her face which inspired my feeling of the photograph.

I took that feeling and breathed it into my interpretation of this portrait.

She took around 40 hours to draw and is sistered with Devi.
