‘The Curious Explorer’
This piece was a study drawn from a photograph by Lee Jeffries. His series of portraits of the homeless in LA and London intrigued me. I saw strength, resilience and hope in the faces when in reality many of their stories were far from it.
This misinterpretation of the images led to me reimagining them in my own way.
The Curious Explorer was recently exhibited at the ING Discerning Eye annual Exhibition at The Mall Galleries in London.
